Dr. Shawn Landry
President
Chief Executive Officer

Beginning in 1998, Dr. Landry began establishing this team of highly capable engineers, architects and leaders. Over the last decade this team has come together to work on great projects, impacting large organizations, agencies, and people. The QBE leadership team, now under their own direction, has begun exploring new areas of opportunity and challenges. Dr. Landry is the president and owner of QBE LLC. He has an extensive knowledge of the Information Technology industry, Department of Defense, and Government Contracting with 17 years of experience. He has been instrumental in creating technology vision briefings for the Department of the Army PEO EIS and CIO G6 providing critical insight on the future of the technology industry, roadmaps, and strategic initiatives. He was also the Chief Architect for the US Army Information Technology Agency’s Data Center Directorate. Dr. Landry previously worked for General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) and served as their Chief Technologist providing critical insight into various initiatives. He received his B.S. in Computer Science from Johnson and Wales University, his Masters of Science in Information Science from Regis University, and his Doctoral of Science in Computer Science from Colorado Technical University.


Michael J. Marsden
Vice President of Operations
Chief Operating Officer

Mike Marsden is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for QBE. Mike has responsibility for sales and QBE’s operational infrastructure. Our business strategy and sales and support structure, are the principle focus areas for Mike and his team. Mike has over 20 years experience in leading sales, sales operations, and service organizations for global information technology companies. Prior to joining QBE, Mike worked for EMC Corporation leading sales for its Department of Defense Pentagon Program business. During that period Mike developed the direct sales strategy and the channels of distribution that resulted in total revenue contribution exceeding $100M. Prior to joining EMC, Mike spent 4 years at Avaya (Telecommunications) as Sales Vice President for Avaya’s State, Local, and Education Sector. Mike was hired by Avaya’s executive team to develop Avaya’s telecommunications presence in this public sector marketplace. Instituting the strategy, sales and marketing organization, and channels of distribution for its public sector coverage model, Mike’s team achieved annual revenues of $180M. Before joining Avaya Mike spent 12 years with StorageTek. Over the course of his 12 year career he held positions as service manager, district sales manager, and director of sales for its public sector organization. He developed and implemented the sales and marketing organization for StorageTek’s State, Local, and Education sector. Mike graduated from Maryland with a B.S. in Management and a minor in English, Magna Cum Laude.


Keith Allen Lowry
Vice President of Product Marketing
Chief Technology Officer

Keith has over 18 years of experience as an Information Technology Systems Engineer and has been the Principle Architect on numerous projects. His areas of expertise are: Storage Area Networks (SANs) design and architecture, Datacenter Architecture, Green Technology Design, Microsoft Windows Architecture, and Information Technology Process Improvement. Keith has been the principle liaison and lead architect on many government contracts and works well at the executive level. He has also been in a lead management role running large teams of engineers to meet critical deadlines for the last 8 years. Keith was the lead Storage Architect for the Army Information Technology Agency Data Center and a principle lead in the design and architecture of the Basement Consolidated Server Room (BCSR) in the Pentagon. The BCSR consolidated ~110,000 SQFT of Datacenter space into 3500 SQFT. He has been instrumental in developing the Enterprise Fibre Channel Architecture for the Pentagon and briefing key decision makers and management boards. In addition to his executive role at QBE, Keith is currently the account manager and engineering lead for PdM APC, QBE’s largest client. At this client Keith oversees a number of Army Enterprise initiatives such as Cloud Computing, Network Operations, Active Directory, and supporting tactical operations in Afghanistan, among others. Keith is capable of taking a large number of business and technology requirements and synthesizing a solution to meet the needs of his clients. His experience has given him the ability to easily and efficiently communicate complex solutions to all relevant stakeholders.


Erik Streight
Vice President of Engineering & Infrastructure
Chief Information Officer

Erik Streight is the Chief Information Officer for QBE and having responsibility for product and practice development. Erik and his team focus on requirements, best practices and innovation to ensure high quality solutions are delivered to every customer. At QBE we use our own best medicine internally and Erik also takes responsibility for IT as a service enabling our entire organization to operate more effectively. Erik has 20 years experience leading the design, implementation and management of both back office and customer facing infrastructure. Recent highlights of his career include several major “redesign in flight” projects for both the DoD and private sector enterprises. In 2009, Erik worked extensively with a US Army service provider to architect innovative business processes that truly integrate with the technical solutions they deliver to the war fighter. The results of this effort allow seamless lifecycle, financial and service management. In 2007, Erik led the architecture of an ultra-modern, green field data center infrastructure for the US Navy. The highlight of this effort was the development and implementation of innovative techniques to deliver rapid migration of hundreds of legacy server applications ensuring minimal service interruptions throughout. In 2002, Erik took control of a medium sized commercial hosting facility that was experiencing service impacts based on an overgrowth of poorly planned implementations. Leading the effort to redesign and redeploy nearly every aspect of this environment, the infrastructure was completely restored to best practice implementations with minimal investments and virtually no service interruptions. Erik graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and is a non-retired veteran of the United States Air Force.
